Imphal, Manipur – SAYOL Foundation is pleased to announce that two outstanding individuals, Yumkhaibam Ibomcha Meitei and Asatullah Tampakmayum, have been recognized for their remarkable contributions to society with the SAYOL State Excellence Award 2025.
The awards ceremony took place on April 27, 2025, at the Senate Hall, Manipur University, where Aheibam Romel Singh, Director SCERT, Govt of Manipur, presented the awards to the recipients.
About the Awardees
Yumkhaibam Ibomcha Meitei, founder of Laining Solution, was honored for his exceptional work in promoting indigenous products and creating a positive impact on youth and work culture. Asatullah Tampakmayum was recognized for his remarkable efforts in recovering 470 deceased from underwater and reuniting them with their families.

SAYOL Foundation is a charitable trust established on April 27, 2017, and registered on January 16, 2023, in Manipur, India. Our mission is to provide comprehensive humanity service, focusing on education, health, human rights, and women’s empowerment.
Key Focus Areas and Projects
SAYOL Foundation’s key focus areas include livelihood enhancement, health and wellness, and quality education. Our projects include:
– Project Punshi Mayol: Free medical camps and financial assistance, benefiting more than 200 families and giving them hope for a new life.
– Project Ema: Supporting mothers in conflict-affected areas with essential necessities, helping over 40 Leikai’s Ema, and recently providing aid to Pallel Ema.
– Project Kangkhul: Livelihood support through handloom projects, launched this year, providing looms to 5 needy families, generating income for mostly women through handlooms.
– Ambulance Initiative: Stationing ambulances in every district for affordable medical care.
Impact and Achievements
SAYOL Foundation has made a significant impact in the lives of those in need, with:
– 712 members contributing ₹30 each to support our work
– 80G, 12A, and CSR certified
– No government funding, relying on member contributions and donations
