Cricketer Varun Chakravarthy has revealed his dream of one day directing Tamil superstar Vijay. Speaking on cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin’s YouTube channel, Chakravarthy shared that he already has a script prepared for Vijay, in case the actor decides to make a cinematic comeback.
Discussing his diverse aspirations, Chakravarthy mentioned that filmmaking has been a consistent dream since he was 25. “When I was 25, I had 4-5 dreams. A 25-year-old normally knows what he wants to do. Now, I have 2-3 goals of what I want to do. So, definitely, filmmaking is a big part and that keeps my creative side going on,” he said.
Chakravarthy elaborated on his love for storytelling and scriptwriting, saying, “I like to make stories, I like to cook up stories. I like to use 2-3 different characters and create 2-3 different situations. Based on that, I have written 3 stories. I have written full-bound scripts.”
Given Chakravarthy’s admiration for Vijay, Ashwin queried whether he had a script for the actor. Acknowledging Vijay’s potential shift towards politics, Chakravarthy affirmed, “I have written a story for him (Vijay) as well. If he asks for it, I will give him a chance to make a comeback.”
Vijay is set to star in Venkat Prabhu’s film, The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), which also features Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prasanth, Prabhu Deva, and others in significant roles. The film is being produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh under AGS Entertainment.
While Vijay has not announced any other projects, his fans remain hopeful that he will take on one more film before transitioning fully to his political career. Earlier this year, Vijay launched his own political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, marking a significant shift in his career trajectory.
As fans eagerly anticipate Vijay’s future moves, Varun Chakravarthy’s enthusiasm and readiness with a script add an exciting potential twist to the actor’s cinematic journey
